Revitalizing Words For Hungry Hearts And Thirsty Souls

I am reminded of my first encounter with Sister Gerry Alderink. I was visiting my brother at a local hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, and had left my Bible in the waiting room. She came in there while I was gone and observed my Bible, the Study book and hat. She decided to wait to see this “Bible Man.” Upon my return, there sat a sweet lady with a countenance that would melt an iceberg. Very quickly during our conversation we found the spiritual unity we had with Jesus, our Lord. We knew there had to be a reason for meeting on that day. I was greatly concerned for my brother’s health, but she made me feel at ease with her gift of Helps, as she excels in this ministry. No matter what she is doing, or what she is saying, she always comes through with helping others wherever possible. God is first in her life, then others and self is last. The goal of this book is to help others in understanding the Word of God and to grow in their relationship with the Lord. Her strong desire is to give to others what God has given to her from her studies across many years. Although all will not have the opportunity to be blessed by her presence, they will be blessed by the words of this book. The readers will get a glimpse of her love, obedience and faith in God. I thank God that He allowed us to have the privilege of serving the Lord in various opportunities for outreach.
