Word Without End advocates a canonical approach to biblical interpretation, one that does not allow the New Testament to eclipse the interpretation of the Old Testament. By attending to “theology,” “exegesis,” and “practice”–the three divisions of the book–Seitz models a reading of the Old Testament as scripture that lays out a theological foundation for the life of the church.
