Charleston blue-blood Edward Ravenel “got religion” late in life; so late, turns out his kids never took to it. They’re all “no count” to his way of thinking. So he’s left a provisional will. Had each of them kidnapped for the reading, even. (No one ever said he was lucid there at the end!) Now they’re going to have to honor Daddy’s commandments from beyond the grave-or be cut off from their substantial inheritances.
