Few realize that the Lord in His mercy places His hand over certain prophecies until the time that He has chosen to reveal them. In this way they will have the effect that He wants upon His children–bringing revival and strengthening them for trial. The revelation of Daniel’s greatest prophecy, the vision by the Tigris River, found in the final three chapters of his book, is the last of his prophecies to be revealed. This vision guarantees that it will be fully understood at “the time of the end” as God’s children search the scriptures. Daniel 12:4.
