Tender Years

“The Tender Years” is the story of Carl and Ardensa who, in the final days of their lives, find themselves alone, facing illness and the certainty of an approaching death. The magnitude of their ordeal, though as cruel as it may seem, is overshadowed by the strength and trueness of their love for each other-a love that refuses to yield to the painful demands of old age and the somber reality of impending death.

It is at this time in their lives that the strength of their love is magnified by the tender affection that they have for each other, a tenderness imbedded in the depths of their hearts as they come to the end of their lives, but not to the end of their love. It is the kind of true love that leaps into the eternal realm, sure of itself, refusing to die even within the bosom of death itself.
