Showem Your Scars

When Jesus appeared to the disciples after His resurrection, what was the first thing He showed them? His scars! What was the one thing Thomas said he must see to know that Jesus was alive? His scars! What does the world need to see from the church that lets them know we are real? That we too have been wounded by the world but healed by the power of God’s grace-our scars! This book is a challenge to the church to recognize that there are people in our churches willing to minister, but they have scars. It also challenges individuals to share where God has brought them from and how He has healed them. It is the author’s intent for the church and individuals to realize that scars are “a sign of perfection not of imperfection” and to have the courage to Show ’em Your Scars.
