Shattered Dreams : Wake Up America Before It Is Too Late

The intent of this book is twofold. First, it is to help people realize that no matter what you experienced as a child, you can overcome your circumstances and soar to unimaginable new heights with the help of God. This is critically important if you have children and have the desire to break the cycle of abuse and dysfunction. As a child Donna was abandoned by both parents and suffered rejection, verbal, physical and sexual abuse. She candidly shares her testimony so parents can experience, through the eyes of a child, how the unwise choices and actions they make can profoundly affect their children for the majority of their lives. The cycle repeats itself until someone chooses a better way.

Second, this book is a passionate plea to open your eyes to what is happening to our nation. In 2004, the Holy Spirit gave me prophetic insight about the impending demise of the United States. I am called to do the will of my Father, which is to warn as many people as possible to repent and turn back to Him before it is too late. It doesn’t matter if you receive and act on what you hear, but that I obeyed. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 1:7).

We have the power to change where our nation is headed if we turn back to God and eradicate the sin from our lives and our nation. Then we must unite and take action to stop the impending destruction of our nation before it is too late! As stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Remember, God changed His mind about destroying Nineveh when they repented and turned back to Him. Therefore, there is always the hope that God will change His mind, for with God all things are possible.
