St. Paul (June 29th)

Patron of: theologians, missionaries, evangelists, writers, public workers, authors

St. Paul is probably the most famous convert in all of Christianity. He spent his life persecuting Christians, until one day he met the Risen Lord himself on the road to Damascus. In a dramatic turn of events, Paul went on to become one of the most famous Christian evangelists of all time. Dressed in traditional emerald green and red with a cross on his back.

Teach your children about conversion! Introduce the story of St. Paul using the educational insert in the box. Encourage children to consider what it means to change your life. What happens when we encounter the Risen Lord? How does having a relationship with Christ change our lives? In one way or another, we all have a moment where we must answer God’s personal invitation to us. St. Paul is also a great Saint to teach children that God calls everyone- even people we don’t think deserve it!
