Am I really saved? Can I know for sure where I am going when I die? These questions troubled the author as a young boy. They are the same questions that many people fearfully, though quietly, are still uncertain about. The account of this search is charmingly woven within a description of country life in rural South Dakota through the eyes of a boy. The autobiography describes what it was like as far back as the thirties when times were hard. The search for meaning suddenly began to lead to answers that amazed the author, and he continues to be amazed at what else God chooses to reveal, including things about the Holy Spirit. It was, as God Himself might have called it, greater than you could ask or think. This author has found that anyone can experience closeness with God, and he urges the reader to “Go For It!”
