Red Boat : Le Bateau Rouge

During the German occupation of France in the 1940s, a Field Marshall’s golden locket passes from lover to lover, and betrayal to betrayal. A mother is distraught as her little boy vanishes from a Normandy beach while her husband philanders with his secretary. All the while, a village flower girl is deprived of her innocence, her friends and her country, leading to her betrayal by her lover in the French Underground.
