Pay It Forward

12-year-old Trevor accepts his social-studies teacher’s assignment to come up with a plan to change the world: he proposes to do a good deed for 3 people and ask them each to “pay it forward” to 3 others who need help. Before long kindness begins spreading all over his small California town, to where the crime rates drop and people begin to take notice. This youth reader’s edition has been reworked for a middle grade audience, ages 9 to 12.
