The words of Jesus form the very heart of St. Faustina’s Diary, as the Merciful Savior calls her – and each of us – to an intimacy with Him and the mission of bringing mercy to the whole world. Jesus tells her, “I see your efforts to please Me, and they delight My Heart” (Diary, 1061). He also instructs her, “My daughter, do whatever is within your power to spread devotion to My mercy. I will make up for what you lack. Tell aching mankind to snuggle close to My merciful Heart and I will fill it with peace” (Diary, 1074).
