Making Words Grades 1-3

Children are encouraged to explor words, letter-sound relationships, and letter patterns through Making Words. This fast-paced approach to combing phonics and spelling includes 160 hands on activities, as well as guidelines for creating your own treasury of lessons. Your students will delight in using each lesson’s designated letters to make 12 to 15 words, beginning with short vowels and working their way to longer words. And they’ll be eager to make the final word, which includes all the letters. A wonderful tool for strengthening spelling skills!
