God Shouts In The Sunset

Sometimes when God speaks; I have to shout, “Lord, make it simple, or I won’t understand a word that you say.”Too often we wander in a wilderness of words, just as Israel wandered in the wilderness before entering the Promised Land. God speaks through the Bible, sometimes in a whisper, “a still small voice,” but sometimes He shouts in majesty, beauty, power, and love. These are impressions that I received from God’s Word. In sharing some of the thoughts that have brought joy, comfort, and worship into my life, perhaps a word, a page, or a phrase will lead you with tears and laughter to reach out and grasp the hand that is reaching out to you and bring you to a new and fresh experience with God. It is my prayer that you will pick up your Bible, cup your hand to your ear, and listen as He whispers on the wind and shouts in the sunset.
