From Shadows To Shekinah

This is a group of poems illustrating my own particular journey from darkness and despair to the light of God’s Shekinah Glory. At different phases of my life, I have been plagued by anxiety and depression, and I saw no way out until I was willing to put it all into God’s hands. It was unfathomable for me to imagine that the God who created the universe was capable of knowing me personally and loving me unconditionally. To know the extent of God’s love and to be completely forgiven brought me into a realm of peace and joy that I never deemed possible. It was truly “the peace of God, which transcends all understanding” as described in Philippians 4:7. Some of the poems were written at the very lowest point of my life, when everything seemed bleak and hopeless. It was only through God’s grace that I found the way out of my dark abyss and into His glorious light. It is all about trusting in our Sovereign God and knowing that He is always there for us, no matter what the circumstances.
