In this sequel to Flo and Her Family, Flo embarks on a new life in an aviary. She and her new mate, Fred, decide to have a family of budgies.

“It’s hard work laying eggs!” grumbles Flo.

Once the first egg hatches Fred exclaims, “It’s all beak, the eyes are shut, and there are no feathers-YUCK!”

From the hatching on, the new parents are busy caring for their chicks, feeding, feeding, and feeding! Join the story and follow Flo and Fred as they grow their budgie family and contend with the varied community within the aviary-from busybody budgie neighbors to a fledgling rock group that seem set on noise pollution.
