Fathering Spirit

Ensure the Transfer of Your Spiritual Inheritance One of the most important benefits of reading this book will be the fresh understanding of the power and importance of God as father. God fathers His church through those who have His Spirit, which is a Fathering Spirit. Prov. 13:24 He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him. The writer of Hebrews says it this way: Heb. 12:6 Because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son. This holds true in the church as well. Many feel they are not loved when a spiritual father disciplines them. Still others long for the embrace of a fathering spirit who will dare to discipline them and help them achieve God’s best for their lives. May the church of the Lord Jesus Christ embrace the true love of the Father and receive His discipline.
