In this book, Guillory has attempted to explain and trace God’s plan for redemption in its most fundamental form and from several different aspects over hundreds of years. The Abrahamic Covenant, as well as the other seven covenants are explained. God’s promise to make Abraham a great nation was not exclusively for Abraham, but for all of humanity. The first covenant people are introduced to include their relationships, mix marriages, conflicts and numerous choices of these families. The three largest religious organizations, their tenants and the people who follow them are discussed with little to no comparison between the three. Lastly, Jesus Christ is discussed as Son of God, Son of Man and the Door.
