Discerning With The Heart

We are making decisions all the time, big ones and little ones. Choice by choice our lives unfold and reveal our hopes, desires, fears and goals. Though we generally don’t think about it in the thick of daily living, making choices is a discerning process. Using information, reasoning, necessity and opportunity we do what we can and are using our minds to the full. But it is when our minds support our hearts that we live more intentionally. The essays in this book are nudges to invite the leanings of the heart to be central to making conscious and faithful choices and so help us to live our deepest values.
