Decisions, decisions, decisions. Since our personal decision-making does have consequences, we all struggle making good decisions. In reality, what we believe affects every area of our actions and lifestyle, including our decision-making process. For that reason the Bible must be the centerpiece for Christian decision-making! In our ministry, we have observed many good Christian people struggle with life due to their poor decisions. You don’t have to live a life of regrets if you will just apply God’s Word to your daily decision processes. The wise King Solomon recognized this problem in his own life. Therefore, early in life he sought to learn wisdom and understanding with his whole heart. Later in life, as he watched his own children grow he became burdened with their lack of wisdom. God used this burden to inspire King Solomon to write the book of Proverbs for his children’s benefit. We can profit greatly if we understand and give heed to these same proverbs.
