Community Of The Wise The Letter Of James

Robert Wall’s commentary interprets James from within the context of Scripture itself. By emphasizing how James compares and contrasts particularly with Paul’s letters, Wall shows how vital James is as a part of the Christian canon. He argues that James contains a “way of wisdom” that guides believers through trials and on to Christian maturity. The commentary contains an introduction and several excursuses on various topics. The commentary itself focuses on passages and is written in a relatively non-technical style.
