Chosen Yoke

Living the Christian life is a constant battle between good and evil. This book discusses these conflicts in terms of the yoke each of us carries through life. The yoke presented to us by Satan holds a beauty of sorts, which causes our hearts and minds to glance in different directions-directions which can send us into a spin of disaster for ourselves and those around us. On the other hand, Jesus Christ has a yoke perfectly fitted for us. It is a yoke designed to withstand the tribulations and leads us into righteousness according to the design in which God has divinely orchestrated. One yoke brings with its pleasures, the curse of death. When we plow with it, all we leave behind is the stench of dying relationships and our own decay. The yoke of Christ brings pleasure to the soul and a call to servant-hood. It enables us to plow ground that will grow and produce good fruit, blessings of peaceable relations with others and God.
