A new translation of Hermann Stehr’s magnum opus “Der Heiliigenhof” (a print run between the wars of over 150,000) – a novel of faith set in Germany in the decades around the start of the twentieth century. It depicts the personal struggle of a farmer with his Catholic faith and the related struggles of neighbouring Anabaptists.
