Estos dos libros, Por que Dios me hizo nia? y Por que Dios me hizo nio?, fueron escritos por Joe Owen del ministerio apologetico Respuestas en Genesis, junto a su hija Abby Owen, con el fin de apoyar a los papas y mamas, no solo a contrarrestar el bombardeo de la ideologia de genero a su hogar, sino tambien a ensear a los nios como Dios se quiere glorificar en su respectiva hombria o feminidad. Estos libros presentan el mensaje de la redencion de Cristo y de como solo en El y por El, podemos vivir los aspectos estructurales y funcionales de la imagen de Dios en nosotros para la gloria de Dios en Cristo.

These two books, Why Did God Make Me a Girl? and Why Did God Make Me a Boy? were written by Joe Owen of Answers in Genesis apologetics ministry, along with his daughter Abby Owen, in order to support moms and dads in not only countering the bombardment of gender ideology into their home, but also to teach children how God wants to glorify Himself in their respective manhood or womanhood. Since none of us have lived by it, these books also present the message of Christ’s redemption and how only in Him and through Him we can live in the structural and functional aspects of God’s image in us for the glory of God in Christ.
