You Can Let Go Now

When the second twin emerged from Rebekah’s womb, he was holding onto the heel of his brother Esau. Isaac and Rebekah aptly named him Jacob, meaning “heel-grabber.” For many years this name would be his destiny, until he was able to let go of a hollow existence and instead grasp his true destiny as a prince among men. Just like Jacob, we struggle with the quest for significance, often settling for a life never intended for us.
