The laws of the Old Testament have immense practical value because they are a prophetic roadmap to lead us into deeper experiences of the spiritual fullness found in Christ. The Law is the shadow but the substance is in Christ. This book gives clear understanding as to why we are not obligated to keep the literal content of the Old Testament laws. Proper respect for the Law is maintained as you are instructed how to “serve in newness of the Spirit, and not in oldness of the letter” (Rom. 7:6 NASB).
