Little Family Moves In

In this heartwarming story, Bonnie, a young child, is thrilled to be moving to a farm. Filled with excitement and wonder, she explores her new surroundings. She soon realizes that, although a farm can be great fun, it also involves some danger and a lot of hard work. More than anything, she wants to become “Daddy’s little farm girl,” but finds she has much to learn. With Mommy and Daddy’s help, a few mishaps, and some humorous experiences, she accomplishes her goal. In the process, she begins to learn about God, including some timely lessons on patience. Little Farm Down the Lane shows, from a little girl’s perspective, what growing up on a farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, was like in the late 1940s to the early 1950s, while presenting Christian values to today’s generation of children in an entertaining and uplifting format. This is the first book in a projected series of eight. As the story continues to unfold in future books, Bonnie’s parents begin attending a local church and God becomes an integral part of their lives. Bonnie and her family grow in their knowledge of God through good times and bad times.
