The following is an excerpt from the last chapter of The Big Day. Jon’s dad finally came to the last part of his parables. He said, “Son, listen closely to this part, even more closely than before.” His face lit up as he continued. “Dexter, the sheep dog, in this case represents Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus came into this world to save us from the ‘wolf’- the devil. When we are about to give up and think Satan has won, Jesus comes to our rescue once again.
